Hey guys,
I think it would be beneficial for us to give a basic update on where we are at in life.
Perhaps answering questions like:
1. Where are you working?
2. What are your plans for next year?
3. What is something significant the Lord has taught you in the past 6 months?
4. How have you been serving in the local church?
5. Any other personal life updates?
6. Any ways that we can pray for you?
Can't wait to hear what you are all up to and what the Lord is up to in your lives.

ReplyDelete1. Well, I am working for KONE Elevator in Washington DC. We are a 100 year old international company. I trained in Lisle, IL for the summer 09' and was given two weeks to move to DC with Michelle.
2. Next year I will be doing the same. The hope is to sell more and continue growing in DC. Michelle and I have enjoyed finally settling into a stable life.
3. Patience. Patience. And more patience. It took me 6 months to make my first sale (which is about 3 months longer than it takes during a regular economy). It took Michelle a while to find her job. Lastly, it has taken way longer than expected to pay off debt.
4. Our church Cherrydale Bible Chapel has become a huge part of our life. We are so happy to be a part of that family. After about 2 months there, we headed up a much needed youth group. There are about 9 teens and they are all seeming to grow spiritually and socially. We even made a case for the church to purchase a van to help facilitate the group. It is exciting to finally get the group to be a stable ministry. Right now we are going through Daniel, actually one of the Cru studies that I went through with Rock. Great stuff.
5. I will be running the half marathon next weekend. The Lord said, "Run". So I did and He has spoken to me through it and He has really shown Himself in every mile. I hope to start listening to audio Bible for a "run through the Bible in a year" program in lieu of reading. I am preparing for the Chicago Marathon. Michelle and I have become huge bike riders as DC is fantastic for bikes.
6. Pray for the youth group, abundant elevator contracts, continued growth in marriage, and my committing to training for the marathon in Oct.
